EUR10 million loan to increase productivity and storage capacity of Ukraine's sugar producer

ASTARTA CEO Viktor Ivanchyk participated in the IX International Sugar Forum held on June 15-17 in Kursk, Russia. Representatives of sugar and agri-businesses from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, the US, France and other countries also took part in this event.

During preparation to the next production season, ASTARTA continues modernizing its sugar plants aimed to increase production and energy efficiency and to rise processing capacity. The reconstruction program envisages debottlenecking of key production elements in order to increase their capacity.

ASTARTA Holding N. V. has published its financial report for Q1 2010. The first quarter of 2010 gave the evidence of ASTARTA's strong performance in all its segments. The Group capitalized on high international and domestic prices for commodities, and demonstrated good financial results.
